Former NHLer Pierre Dagenais was drafted first overall in the QMJHL in 1995, and 29 years later, his son is poised to do the same, says Ken Campbell.

Hockey is chock full of stories of fathers and sons becoming elite players, but there's never quite been one like the one Pierre and Maddox Dagenais are forging.

Pierre was the first-overall pick in the QMJHL draft in 1995. His son, Maddox, is poised to do the same when the Quebec Remparts pick first overall in the QMJHL draft Friday night.
