Hamilton Bulldogs centre David Desharnais named AHL player of the week

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Hamilton Bulldogs centre David Desharnais was named American Hockey League player of the week Monday.

He recorded five points (two goals, three assists) in two games last week.

Entering play Monday night, the fourth-year pro from Quebec City leads the AHL with 41 points (10-31) in 33 games.
