Seattle Kraken players pick out a tree, J.T. Miller scores a goal you have to see to believe and Connor Bedard tickles an opposing player.

The Christmas dinners are consumed, presents are opened and the hockey world gets ready to turn its attention back to games. There are a few choices of what to watch between the world juniors, Spengler Cup and the NHL, but last week, before the brief downtime, we were given a few more fun stories:

Seattle Duo Gets Kraken at Picking a Tree

When picking a tree for Christmas, you want to find the best one available, including when Matty Beiners and Will Borgen of the Seattle Kraken went out to get a tree.

The next time Kraken players are in search of a tree for a video, it's safe to say winter boots for Borgen will have to be in order. Function over fashion.

J.T. Miller Scores the Ultimate 'What Goes Up Must Come Down' Goal

The Vancouver Canucks' 5-2 comeback win over the Oilers this past week saw them score five unanswered, it certainly was a surprising sight, and it kicked off with one of the most bizarre goals of J.T. Miller's career.

You'll see this goal on hockey blooper compilations for a while.

Connor Bedard Keeps Things Light with the Swiss

Connor Bedard has already done quite a bit in a Canadian jersey, but tickling an opposing player? There's a first for everything, as he showed during world juniors exhibition action against Switzerland by tickling the chin of Dario Sidler after a Canadian goal.

Why did Bedard do that? Simply put, he just thought it was funny.

Was it a little weird? Sure, but seeing that level of personality from a player mid-game is fun to see.
