For a recent story I did on Edmonton Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard, one of his brothers told me that of the four Bouchard boys from Oakville, Ont., Evan was by far the best soccer player.

That might not mean much, until you consider that one of his brothers was long listed for Canada's U-17 soccer team, and two of the Bouchard boys went on to play pro soccer in South America.

Luckily for the hockey world, Evan Bouchard stuck with hockey, because he's really good at it, eh? In fact, if he keeps producing at his current rate for the Oilers and the playoffs go long enough, he could legitimately challenge Paul Coffey's record of 37 points by a defenseman in one playoff year.
