    CLEVELAND - Jason Bacashihua stopped 31 shots as the Lake Erie Monsters shut out the Toronto Marlies 2-0 in AHL play Friday.

    After two scoreless periods, Monsters forward Matt Hendricks broke the stalemate with a power-play goal at 10:22 in the third.

    Mark McCutcheon made is 2-0 just under four minutes later as the Monsters improved to 26-29-1-5.

    Marlies goaltender Justin Pogge made 26 saves as Toronto dropped to 29-22-2-5.
