The Flyers coach is too busy trying to win hockey games to worry about whose feathers he's ruffling, says Ken Campbell.

The one thing you can say about Philadelphia Flyers coach John Tortorella is that he's never "lost" a team. And those who are clutching their pearls over him making his captain a healthy scratch Tuesday night can calm down.
This, too, shall pass. It always does, in part because Tortorella doesn't really care what anyone thinks of his tactics. He's too busy trying to win hockey games to worry about Sean Couturier saying he's frustrated about being scratched for the Flyers' 4-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Tuesday night. If he's looking for reasons, he might want to start with his stat line going into the game: 14 games, zero goals, three assists, minus-13.
There was a time last season when Toronto Maple Leafs coach Sheldon Keefe had to walk back comments after he had the temerity to publicly criticize his highly paid stars. And people wonder why this organization can't win anything.
What Tortorella does often works, as it did Tuesday night. And if the Flyers do end up making the playoffs this season, Tortorella should receive the third Jack Adams Award of his career.
