Los Angeles Kings activate defenceman Rob Blake from injured reserve

LOS ANGELES - The Kings activated defenceman Rob Blake from the injured reserve list Thursday after he missed 11 games because of an ankle injury.

The 38-year-old team captain has five goals, 21 assists and 80 penalty minutes in 53 games.

Blake has recorded 697 points (219-478) in 1,109 career NHL regular season games.
