At this point, it’s still hard to make sense of it in your mind. Martin Brodeur in a jersey other than that of the New Jersey Devils? It can’t happen, can it?

Well, just two days after news broke that Brodeur would join the St. Louis Blues on a tryout basis, we finally got our first look at Brodeur as a Blue.

The video, shot by St. Louis Times-Dispatch reporter Jeremy Rutherford, wasn’t the only look we get at the sure-fire Hall of Famer in St. Louis threads. The Blues official Twitter account gave us a look as well, tweeting out a series of photos of Brodeur the Blue.

If Brodeur remains with the Blues is yet to be seen. As it stands, the 22-year veteran is looking to get the backup job after an injury to St. Louis starter Brian Elliott left a hole on the Blues depth chart. St. Louis GM Doug Armstrong said the Blues will evaluate Brodeur's play throughout his stay with the team and, if they like what they see, will offer the netminder a contract.
