SUNRISE, Florida (Ticker) -- Chris Mason and the St. Louis Blues

look to win for the fifth time in six contests when they visit

the Florida Panthers on Saturday.

Mason, who had surrendered one goal in each of his previous five

games before fizzling in a 5-0 setback to the Detroit Red Wings

on Tuesday, stopped 20 shots in the Blues' 4-3 overtime victory

over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday.

Keith Tkachuk, Andy McDonald and David Backes also scored for

St. Louis, which has won four of five and finds itself within

two points of Edmonton, Dallas and Anaheim for the eighth and

final spot in the Western Conference playoff picture.

Florida, meanwhile, had its two-game winning streak snapped with

a 4-1 setback to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday.

The Panthers play five of its next seven games at home, where

they are 17-9-5 this season.
