The NHL announced the conference finals schedule for the Stanley Cup playoffs on Monday night right after the Dallas Stars beat the Seattle Kraken 2-1 in Game 7 of the second round.
Tuesday and Wednesday are days off for the four teams, but the action gets underway on Thursday.
The Florida Panthers will take on the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday, May 18, at PNC Arena in Raleigh. All game times for the Eastern Conference final are scheduled for 8 p.m. ET at this time.
Game 2 is on Saturday, May 20, before the Panthers and Hurricanes head to FLA Live Arena in Sunrise for Games 3 and 4 on Monday, May 22, and Wednesday, May 24, respectively. If necessary, Game 5 is on Friday, May 26, Game 6 is Sunday, May 28, and Game 7 is Tuesday, May 30. TNT, CBC, Sportsnet and TVA Sports will broadcast the series.
The Stars and Vegas Golden Knights get a break until Friday, May 19, at 8:30 p.m. ET in T-Mobile Arena, when they kick off the Western Conference final. They then play Game 2 at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 21.
Dallas will host Games 3 and 4 at the American Airlines Center on Tuesday, May 23, at 8 p.m. ET, and Thursday, May 25, at 8 p.m. ET. A potential Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday, May 27, at 8 p.m. ET, while Game 6 is slotted for Monday, May 29, at 8 p.m. ET. If they're still without a winner, we'll know our two contestants in the Stanley Cup final after Game 7 on Wednesday, May 31, at 9 p.m. ET.
