The NHL has teams named after weather patterns, animals, disasters and fire. And those monikers have served them pretty well.
So what's taking Utah and the PWHL so long to come up with a nickname and announce it? Just find a cool name and put an 's' at the end of it, and you're good to go. After all, if a team can be named the Prancers like IHL Peoria once was, you can pretty much get away with a lot.
For what it's worth, The Athletic reported the PWHL's team names and logos are currently in the works and will be unveiled when they're ready.
