It's not often one team claims both awards, but the 2023-24 season should be one of those times with the Nashville Predators, says Ken Campbell.

If you picked the Nashville Predators to go down the stretch with an 18-game point streak and be firmly in a playoff position, go to the head of the class and collect your gold star. Because you are most certainly in the minority. 

The Predators were thought to be in a rebuild that would take years to complete. Instead, they're firmly in a playoff spot and look primed to ruin somebody's great season in the first round of the playoffs.

A large part of the reason for that is the work of first-year GM Barry Trotz and the man he hired to coach the team, Andrew Brunette. That's why they should both, at the very least, be shortlisted for the Jim Gregory GM of the Year Award and the Jack Adams Award, respectively.
