Ottawa Senators lose forward Patrick Eaves to shoulder injury

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators have lost forward Patrick Eaves indefinitely to a shoulder injury.

Eaves sustained the injury after a collision with Sabres defenceman Brian Campbell during a 4-2 loss at Buffalo on Wednesday night.

The club recalled centre Alexander Nikulin from AHL Binghamton.

Eaves, 23, had eight points (4-4) in 20 games this season.
