SUNRISE, Fla. - Left-winger Gregory Campbell has signed a two-year contract with the Florida Panthers.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Florida Panthers General Manager Jacques Martin on Wednesday called the 24-year-old a "high character individual."

Campbell appeared in 81 games for Florida last season. He played for the Ontario Hockey League's Kitchener Rangers during the 2002-03 season. The team was coached by Peter DeBoer, who was hired as Florida's new head coach earlier this month.
