The Philadelphia Flyers moved on from Cutter Gauthier, but all the vitriol remained while another former Flyer punched their rookie for no reason, says Ken Campbell.

Anaheim Ducks captain Radko Gudas pushes Philadelphia Flyers rookie Matvei Michkov on Jan. 11.

Philadelphia Flyers coach John Tortorella is not everyone's cup of tea, but there are times when he is incredibly spot-on with his observations.

To wit: Saturday's 6-0 win against Cutter Gauthier and the Anaheim Ducks. When asked about the vitriol that surrounded the former prospect's return to Philadelphia after not signing for the team, Tortorella immediately threw a bucket of water on it, calling it "bullsh--."

And he's absolutely right. Cutter Gauthier is a blip on the history of the Flyers. The same organization and fan base that was only too thrilled to take Eric Lindros off the Quebec Nordiques' hands when Lindros refused to sign there suddenly felt enormously butthurt that Gauthier spurned them after being drafted.

If the Flyers want to hate a former member of their organization, start with Radko Gudas, who manhandled Matvei Michkov for no real reason.
