NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Nashville Predators have signed their second draft selection of 2013 defenceman Jonathan-Ismael Diaby to a three-year, entry-level deal.

The Predators announced the deal Thursday.

Diaby was the 64th selection overall. The 19-year-old is a native of Blainville, Quebec, whose father Sekana played soccer professionally in France and Turkey and for the Ivory Coast in international competition.

The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Diaby had off-season shoulder surgery and has played nine games with the QMJHL's Victoriaville Tigres. He has played 146 games with Victoriaville since 2010-11 and has 42 points and 215 penalty minutes in his career there.
