The Predators are fourth in the West, having won seven of their past nine games, while the Kings are sixth in the conference, with losses in four of their past six outings. The betting line is definitely interesting for tonight's game.

It’s a busy Tuesday in the NHL with 11 games on the slate, making for a good day to take part in some NHL betting.
One of the games has the Nashville Predators taking on the Los Angeles Kings. The Predators are fourth in the West, having won seven of their past nine games, while the Kings are sixth in the conference, with losses in four of their past six outings.
Below are a few NHL betting picks and analysis for the Preditors-Kings matchup Tuesday night.
Moneyline: Predators +105 | Kings -125
Spread: Predators +1.5 (-250) | Kings -1.5 (-195)
Total: Over 6 (-105) | Under 6 (-115)
The Preds are coming off a 6-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks, where Filip Forsberg continued to set franchise records. Forsberg scored his 35th goal of the season, setting Nashville’s single-season record for goals, part of a five-point night for the Swede.
As good as Forsberg has been, Roman Josi still leads the team in scoring with 18 goals and 59 assists, making his case for the Norris trophy.
Meanwhile, the Kings’ previous outing was a 5-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights. Phillip Danault had the lone goal for Los Angeles, while Anze Kopitar leads the Kings with 16 goals and 36 assists for the season.
The Preds are ninth in scoring, averaging 3.30 goals per game, and Los Angeles is 23rd with 2.80. Defensively, both teams are pretty close. Nashville is 11th in opponent scoring, allowing 2.79 goals, while the Kings are 12th with 2.80.
Against the puckline, the Predators are 37-26 and 22-11 on the road, while the Kings are 38-26 and 17-15 at home. One trend to consider is the Over is 5-0 in Nashville’s past five matchups when its opponent scored two or fewer in its previous game.
I must be missing something here because I don’t see any reason the Kings should be favored over the Predators in this game.
Nashville has been the better side all season and the more consistent team recently. The Preds are also on a high right now, with Forsberg, Matt Duchene, and Josi firing on all cylinders.
Nashville is an easy bet here and I’d be willing to take them on the moneyline, as well as the puckline.
The Picks: Predators (+105), Predators Puck Line +1.5 (-250), Over 6 (-105), Filip Forsberg – Points: Over 0.5 (-200), Roman Josi – Points: Over 0.5 (-225)
