Here's a look at the top 15 goaltenders available in the 2024 PWHL Draft who declared and are eligible.

There isn't a lot of room in the PWHL this season for netminders. Many anticipate that Toronto, Ottawa, and New York will be looking for upgrades in net, and there's a possibility that Montreal will need to look for a new backup if Elaine Chuli leaves in free agency. Boston didn't show much faith in Emma Soderberg, and when she came in, she struggled, so there's a chance they could look at an upgrade as well. Along with the 26 goaltenders eligible for the 2024 PWHL Draft, there are also six third goalies in the PWHL and several reserves who will be looking for a roster spot.
Here's a look at the top 15 goalies available in the 2024 PWHL Draft.
The most pro ready goaltender in this draft, Peslarova can step in and play immediately. To pair Peslarova in a market like Ottawa, Toronto, or New York would give the team an immediate 1A / 1B situation. Montreal could also look at Peslarova if they don't feel Elaine Chuli is returning. She won't want to be a backup, and that will create instantaneous competition.
The 2023 NCAA Goaltender of the Year and a 2024 First Team All-American who made USA senior national team as their third goalie for the 2024 World Championships. Philips battles for pucks and reads plays well. She's athletic enough to cover ground, and is a potential future starter in this league.
One of the better prospects in Canada, Osborne has looked strong both at Canada's national team camps, and she had a spectacular season in the NCAA posting a .941 save percentage and 1.28 GAA along with a 20-4-1 record. The 5-foot-8 Ottawa product would be an excellent fit in either Ottawa or Toronto, and she'd be an upgrade to both team's goaltending depth.
Still capable of playing in this league, and perhaps stealing a starting role. It was a travesty not to see one of the best goaltenders of All-Time in the league last year. She's certainly worth a shot as a veteran presence in the league. To add a future Hall of Famer would be icing on the cake for a PWHL franchise.
Posted a 1.05 GAA and .945 save percentage this season with Ohio State, and came up big when needed including posted a 1-0 shutout in the NCAA national championship game beating Wisconsin. Kirk has been a goalie on Canada's radar, and even as a third netminder in the league, she'd be a goalie who could step in and play if needed.
