Report: Bruce Boudreau to be Named Next Vancouver Canucks Coach

As reported by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Bruce Boudreau is expected to be named the next coach of the Vancouver Canucks.

At the time of the report, current Canucks coach Travis Green has not been relieved of his duties officially. The Canucks currently sit last in the Pacific Division with an 8-15-2 record in 25 games. Only Arizona (12), Ottawa (13), NY Islanders (14) and Montreal (15) have fewer points than Vancouver's 18.

Boudreau last coached with Minnesota in 2019-20 before getting fired prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. He coached Washington from 2007-2012 and Anaheim from 2011-16, winning the Jack Adams Award in 2007-08.
