The Winnipeg Jets are making some changes.

According to Daily Faceoff's Frank Seravalli, the Winnipeg Jets will not bring back interim coach Dave Lowry and assistants Jamie Kompon and Charlie Huddy.

Lowry took over coaching duties from Paul Maurice back in December, posting a 26-22-6 record before eventually missing out on the playoffs. Lowry had previously been an assistant with Winnipeg, Los Angeles and Calgary, but this was his first time as a head coach.

The Jets missed the playoffs for the first time sicne 2016-17, missing it by eight points.

On Sunday, Sportsnet's Ken Wiebe reported that GM Kevin Cheveldayoff has been given a 3-year contract extension. None of the reported news has been officially announced by the Jets as of yet.
