Russell's overtime-winner pulls Bulldogs past Crunch, 3-2

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Ryan Russell scored in overtime to lift the Hamilton Bulldogs over the Syracuse Crunch 3-2 on Tuesday in the AHL.

Sergei Kostitsyn and Ben Maxwell scored in regulation, both on the power play, while Yannick Weber contributed two assists for Hamilton (37-23-2-0).

Trevor Frischmon and Michael Blunden had goals for the Crunch (29-26-4-2).

Cedrick Desjardins made 31 saves for the Bulldogs, while Dan LaCosta stopped 39 of 42 on the other side for Syracuse.
