    OTTAWA (Ticker) -- The Buffalo Sabres aim for their third

    straight victory when they visit the Ottawa Senators on Saturday

    in a battle of Eastern Conference foes.

    Tim Connolly scored a pair of goals and set up two others and

    Patrick Lalime made 29 saves as

    the Sabres posted a 5-1 victory over the Phoenix Coyotes on

    Friday.

    Defenseman Andrej Sekera recorded a goal and an assist and Jason

    Pominville and Drew Stafford netted power-play tallies for

    Buffalo, which has won two in a row after suffering a three-game

    losing streak.

    Connolly has registered five points since signing a two-year

    contract extension Wednesday with the Sabres, who have outscored

    opponents, 10-2, in their last two contests.

    Ottawa snapped a three-game skid with a 4-2 win over the

    Edmonton Oilers on Thursday.

    The Senators, who are 14-12-6 at home, have surrendered 12 goals

    in their last three games.
