BUFFALO, N.Y. - Goaltender Jhonas Enroth signed a three-year entry level contract with the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.

The Sabres' second-round pick in the 2006 NHL draft is coming off a solid year in which he helped Sweden win a silver medal at the World Junior Championships in January.

The 19-year-old Enroth was also a finalist for Swedish Elite League's rookie of the year honours after leading all goaltenders with a 2.13 goals-against average in 27 games with Sodertalje SK. He had two shutouts and a 93.2 save percentage in finishing with a 10-14-3 record.
