San Jose (42-12-10) at Minnesota (32-28-5), 8:00 pm EDT

ST. PAUL, Minnesota (Ticker) -- The San Jose Sharks will try to

snap a season-worst, four-game losing streak when they visit the

Minnesota Wild on Tuesday.

The Sharks, who are tied with the Detroit Red Wings atop the

Western Conference, are coming off Saturday's 3-1 loss to the

Vancouver Canucks. During its losing stretch, San Jose suffered

a 4-3 loss to the Wild on Thursday.

Joe Thornton netted a power-play goal with three seconds left in

the second period Saturday for the Sharks, who are 1-4-1 over

their last six contests.

The Wild, who have dropped five of seven contests, are one point

out of the final playoff spot in the West.

Stephane Veilleux netted a pair of goals Sunday, leading the

Wild to a 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks.
