    We've already blown past the summer solstice and are butting up against July with this NHL season, so why not extend it a little longer on Monday night in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final? Who's with us?

    That would indeed be the chef's kiss to a Cup final between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers. A series that started out boring and uncompetitive has morphed into one of the most exciting the NHL has ever seen. And going into Game 7, can anyone remember an NHL game that has been bigger and more anticipated than this one?

    The television numbers, particularly in Canada, should be staggering. So heck, why not have a double- or triple-overtime classic to end it all?
