Suspension will keep Calgary's Andre Roy out of Game 5 against Blackhawks

TORONTO - Calgary Flames forward Andre Roy has been suspended for one game following an incident in Wednesday's pre-game warmup with Chicago Blackhawks defenceman Aaron Johnson.

Roy will miss Saturday's Game 5 of the opening-round playoff series against the Blackhawks in Chicago.

Roy, who initiated contact with Johnson during the warmup, was also fined US$2,500 - the maximum allowed under the collective bargaining agreement.

The Flames won Wednesday's game 6-4 in Calgary to send the Western Conference best-of-seven quarter-final series to Chicago tied at two wins apiece.

Johnson was a healthy scratch for the game - as he has been all series - while Roy, the Flames' enforcer, has played less than four minutes.
