Team Canada releases preliminary camp roster for 2014 Olympics

Team Canada released a list of 47 players who were invited to its orientation camp in Calgary from August 25-28. This is not a final roster, nor does a snub from this list mean a player is officially not going to the 2014 Olympics. In 2010, Patrice Bergeron was the only player to make Team Canada's Olympic team after being left off the orientation camp roster.

The 2014 Olympic tournament takes place February in Sochi, Russia.
