Chris Drury, Bill Zito and Tom Fitzgerald will join GM Bill Guerin on the U.S. management team for the 2026 Olympics and 4 National Face-Off.

“We’ve got a great management group and I’m excited to work with them in representing our country,” Guerin, who USA Hockey previously named GM for the upcoming tournaments, said in a statement. “It’s an exciting time in USA Hockey, and we’re focused on bringing home championships from both events.”

Here is a look at what each of the managerial staff brings to the team:

Chris Drury, New York Rangers

A Boston University hockey veteran, Drury was named GM of the Rangers in May 2021 after spending five years as the assistant GM. Drury played in the NHL for 12 seasons between 1998 and 2011, recording 615 points in 892 regular-season games. He also has a wealth of international experience, having played in three Olympics (2002, 2006 and 2010), as well as three World Championships (1997, 1998 and 2004). In 2015, Drury was inducted into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame.

Tom Fitzgerald, New Jersey Devils

Fitzgerald was named GM of the Devils in 2020. Last year, he ended the team's 11-year drought by finally winning a playoff round. Before that, he worked as the Pittsburgh Penguins' assistant GM. As a player, he spent 17 seasons in the NHL, recording 329 points in 1,097 regular-season games. Internationally, he played in two World Championships (1989 and 1991), as well as the 1987 World Junior Championship.

Bill Zito, Florida Panthers

Zito, who was named GM of the Florida Panthers in 2020, has led the team to four straight playoffs, including a trip to the Stanley Cup final. A former player agent, he moved into hockey management in 2013 as an assistant GM of the Columbus Blue Jackets. This is not the first time that Zito has been involved internationally with Team USA, having been a part of the 2015 and 2018 teams that both won a bronze medal at the World Championship.
