Connor McDavidWith one assist, nine shots and four additional shot attempts, Connor McDavid has been pretty good for the Edmonton Oilers in the Stanley Cup final.
But pretty good doesn't even come close to cutting it when it comes to the best player in the world. Game 3 of the Cup final, with his Oilers trailing the Florida Panthers 2-0 in the best-of-seven, is a defining moment in Connor McDavid's career.
He is going to have to be the one to pull the Oilers out of the spot and back into this series. It would be lovely if some of the Oilers' support players stepped up - paging Ryan-Nugent Hopkins - but the Oilers go as McDavid goes. It will be up to him, along with Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman, to lead the way here.
