Which NHLers are the highest paid this season? Here's a breakdown of the top 10.
The NHL returned to normalcy this season with a typical schedule, fast-paced action on the ice, more NHL betting opportunities than ever, and big player salaries.
The Tampa Bay Lightning, looking to become the first team to win three straight Stanley Cups since the 1980s, don’t have one of the top-five highest-paid players in the NHL but have two players in the top 10, including Nikita Kucherov, whose $12-million total salary ranks sixth in the league.
Kucherov is in the third year of an eight-year, $76-million deal that runs through the 2026-27 season. His teammate, goalie Andrei Vasilevski, ranks ninth at $11 million.
