Tim Brent recalled by Anaheim Ducks from AHL farm team in Portland, Me.

Brent, 22, of Cambridge, Ont., had seven goals and nine assists in 25 AHL games this season. He was drafted by Anaheim in the second round, 37th overall, of the 2002 NHL entry draft.

Melin, 25, a Swede, had seven goals and seven assist in 28 AHL games this season. He was acquired with Ben Guite from the New York Islanders in exchange for Dave Roche on March 19, 2002. He was originally drafted by the Islanders in the sixth round, 163rd overall, of the 1999 draft.

Shannon, 23, an American, had two goals and seven assists in 38 NHL games this season. He was signed by Anaheim as a free agent on Nov. 28, 2005.
