    First Hockey Memory:
"It's gotta be the rink my dad built.”

    Hockey Inspirations
: "My dad was Influential and inspirational in my career. Actually, both parents. Hockey heroes? You know what? Hate to say it, but Ricky Tocchet was one of my heroes, one of my mentors, one of the guys I liked watching. Dave Semenko. I grew up in Edmonton. Guys like that I always liked to watch."

    Nickname:
    "Fridge."

    Hobbies/Leisure Activities:
"Outside of hockey, I like building and woodwork. Doing projects around the house; keepin' up the house. Built a shed and a deck a couple years ago.

    Last Book Read:
"Sun Tzu’s The Art Of War."

    First Job:
"Rock picking in Alberta for a farmer. I would pick the rocks that were too big and could have broken the hoes they pulled behind the tractor."

    First Car:
    "Nissan Pulsar."

    Current Car:
    "Is a Chevrolet Tahoe."

    Favorite Meal:
"Gotta be my wife's spaghetti and meatballs."

    Pregame Feeling:
    "Intense, but calm. Open mind."

    Greatest Sports Moment:
"First NHL game (2000); first NHL fight. Greatest moment. (Against whom?) Rob Ray. There were a couple pre-season ones before that, but that was the first real one. (Get the win?) I'd like to say I did. Draw at least."

    Most Painful Moment:
"Getting punched by (Derek) Boogaard and breaking my orbital."

    Favorite Uniforms:
    "Tampa Bay Lightning."

    Favorite Arena:
"It's gotta be either Detroit or Chicago. It's awesome to be in those arenas."

    Embarrassing Hockey Memory:
"Probably losing some gifts I bought in Nashville my rookie year. I left them in the back of the cab. They were expensive."

    Funniest Player Encountered:
"Chris Therien. He says the most vulgar things at the wrong time."

    Toughest Competitor:
"Philly's always been a team that – I don't know if it's the color of their jerseys or what – but they've always brought a certain level of play. You gotta play hard against them."

    Strangest Game:
“The year of the walkout we (the Philadelphia Phantoms) played against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the playoffs. We were down four goals the year we won the Calder Cup, but we came back and won. That was a pretty cool game. Strange."

    Last Vacation:
"Jersey Shore. Went down to Avalon."

    Most Memorable Goal:
"First one against Pittsburgh. Don't remember the goalie. Gino Odjick got the assist, though."

    Favorite Players To Watch:

    Personality Qualities Most Admired:
    "Sense of humor and honesty."
