Tough guy Colton Orr signs four-year deal with Maple Leafs

TORONTO - Brian Burke has his tough guy.

The Toronto Maple Leafs GM has signed free-agent fighter Colton Orr to a four-year contract.

Burke has repeatedly stated his intent to see the Maple Leafs become a tougher team since taking the job last year.

Orr certainly fits the bill, having racked up more than 100 penalty minutes each of the past three seasons. He's had 52 fighting majors over that time while playing for the New York Rangers.

The 27-year-old from Winnipeg joins his third Original Six team after stops in Boston and New York.

He's listed at six-foot-three and 222 pounds.
