This year's World Juniors had already been hit by COVID-19 before it began, with a pre-tournament game between Czechia and Switzerland that was set to be played on Dec. 23 ultimately being canceled due to health and safety reasons.
Both teams sit at 1-1 after three days. Canada and Austria are still set for 7:00 PM ET.
