While the Ottawa Senators’ season has been marred by inconsistency so far this season, one constant through the first quarter is the hard work from the team’s grind line consisting of Chris Kelly, Chris Neil and Jarkko Ruutu.

Off the ice, Kelly underwent drastic change in the summer when he and his wife welcomed their first child into the family.

THN’s Ryan Dixon caught up with the 30-year-old Toronto native as he settled into his first season as a father.
