    Growing up in Thunder Bay, Ont., and playing pond hockey during the Canadian winters, brothers Eric and Jordan always dreamed of playing in the NHL together. During the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, the brothers’ dreams would come true as Jordan was traded from the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Carolina Hurricanes. The brothers were excited to play together, but there was one thing delaying their debut: the NHL lockout.

    Now that the NHL has returned, the siblings are suiting up together and it is already paying dividends to the Hurricanes in a number of ways.
