    Earlier this summer the Montreal Canadiens added some much-needed toughness when they sent prospect Philippe Lefebvre and a seventh round draft pick to the Florida Panthers for 6-foot-5, 228-pound enforcer George Parros.

    And while Parros is best known for the rough stuff on the ice, he was out showing his softer side last week when he participated in the second annual Smashfest Charity Ping-Pong Challenge, which supports the Katie Moore Foundation and various brain-injury concussion research foundations.

    THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with the Canadiens tough guy to discuss his participation in the event, joining Montreal, and more.
