Rasmus Bengtsson started the year slowly for Rogle BK, but started to come into his own as the season progressed and that development shouldn’t be too surprising considering it was his first season in the senior ranks. And the 6-foot-2, 196-pounder had a lot of opportunities to hone his craft.

On top of the 51 games he played with Rogle, Bengtsson joined their under-20 team for 20 matches as well. He also got the chance to represent his country at the 2011 Under-18 World Championship, where the Swede’s captured the silver medal.

With the long season behind him, Bengtsson has switched his focus to the NHL Entry Draft in Minnesota and THN’s Ryan Kennedy caught up with him as he prepared for the big day.
