Watch Canadiens’ Gallagher, Beaulieu freak out in hilarious haunted house video

Canadiens Brendan Gallagher and Nathan Beaulieu took in a haunted house in Montreal, and it would be fair to say they didn't enjoy their time. In a hilarious video released by the Habs, Gallagher and Beaulieu jump out of their shoes, yell at clowns and scream at the top of their lungs.

Last week, the Lightning’s Jason Garrison and Alex Killornran through a haunted house in Tampa Bay. While Killorn looked a bit frightened, he emerged on the other side no worse for wear. We’re not sure the same can be said for the Canadiens’ Brendan Gallagher and Nathan Beaulieu, both of whom seemed legitimately terrified on their recent trip to a haunted house in Montreal.

The adventures of Gallagher and Beaulieu were captured thanks to body cameras set up on the Canadiens duo, and there’s reason to believe neither will ever be the same again — especially when the circus comes to town:

With his first step into the haunted house, Gallagher makes a sound that tells you all you need to know about how he’ll handle the haunted house. And within seconds of entering, Gallagher admits how scared he is. Making matters worse — for Gallagher, that is — is the scare the Canadiens right winger gets from the first clown, which he curses out.

From there, you can sit back and enjoy Gallagher nearly jumping out of his shoes and nervously laughing for the next seven minutes, which is shot in an almost Blair Witch Project style. Beaulieu manages to keep it together for the most part, but there’s more than one moment where it seems Gallagher would be all for sprinting out the door.

Gallagher and Beaulieu make the trip through the house one very methodical step at a time, making sure to check around corners before screaming anyway. It’s hard to blame them, though, because we’re the ones watching instead of having clowns leap out at us.
