Watch how Brendan Gallagher punks Dustin Tokarski following the Habs' big win

Dustin Tokarski bailed out the Habs in Game 3 by leading them to victory in New York. As a reward, teammate Brendan Gallagher delivered a surprise gift. Here's the video evidence.

According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Dustin Tokarski became just the fifth goalie since 1975 to earn his first playoff win in the conference final or later.

He joins Dwayne Roloson, Mike Smith, Jussi Markkanen and Martin Gerber to accomplish the feat since the league expanded to four post-season rounds.

Elias doesn’t, however, have stats on whether the other four also got punked by their teammates after their initial spring victories.

We know that was Tokarski’s fate, thanks to NHL Mic’d Up. After talking to TV reporters on the ice just after the game ended, Tokarski returned to the dressing room to be greeted as a conquering hero by his teammates and club personnel.

And in the time-honored, boys-will-be-boys tradition, Brendan Gallagher helps him celebrate with a face-full of cream.

After making 35 saves against the Rangers to carry the Habs to victory, we’ll forgive Tokarski for not seeing this one coming.
