Do the Tampa Bay Lightning want to see their captain and face of the franchise retire in their uniform? Does Steven Stamkos want security, familiarity, legacy and tax advantages? Or does he want a chance to chase another Stanley Cup?
Those are some of the vexing questions both the Lightning and Stamkos face as they ponder their immediate and long-term futures.
