

The NHL All-Star Game will never be confused with the Stanley Cup final when it comes to intensity or, well, anything. But the NHL is trying to spice things up for the event now that it has returned to the Center of the Hockey Universe™ for the first time since 2000.
With the NHL All-Star Player Draft on tap for tonight in Toronto at 6 p.m. ET, here are a couple of groups of players we’d love to see playing together on the weekend. Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon? No-brainer. Former London Knights players? We like the possibilities. Tom Wilson and Nikita Kucherov? Dirty and productive. And it would really, really help if the players, you know, cared.
