It's safe to say the Ducks rebuild hasn't gone as quickly as hoped. They haven't made the playoffs since the 2017-2018 season, and have finished last in their division twice during that span.
However, it's looking like things are on the rise.
Beckett Sennecke, Cutter Gauthier and Leo Carlsson, three of their top up-and-coming young players, are off to a hot start this season. Through three games, each player has contributed at least three points and a positive plus/minus.
The Ducks are off to a surprising 2-1 start, and while it's still the beginning of the season, the team has looked promising.
There's no doubt the fans are ready to see some competitive Ducks hockey. They set a franchise record for the highest attendance at the Honda Center for their mask-giveaway home opener, with 17,622 people (102.6%).
Do you think the Ducks can make a push for the playoffs this year?
