Maybe the veteran saw the offseason moves that the team made and has decided to stick it out. After all, he has been with the organization a long time and just wants to win. Anaheim signaled with the signings of some more veteran players that they want to get this rebuild started already. Gibson would give them a legit option in net each time out, so the hope is that he stays with the Ducks for the upcoming season.
