Anaheim no longer looks like a pushover, at least for now.

After dropping their first game of the season to the Vegas Golden Knights, the Anaheim Ducks came back with a vengeance in their home opener against the Carolina Hurricanes. They took down the powerful Hurricanes by a score of 6-3 and showed that they may not be a terrible offensive team again this season. The team likely won't score six goals each night, but it's clear through the first two games of the season that they are no longer pushovers. Anaheim is here to make noise and the noise they shall make this season.
In other Ducks-related news, head coach Greg Cronin picked up his first career win as a head coach in the NHL. Second overall pick Leo Carlsson is inching closer to his return and Anaheim had their first hat trick of the season with Frank Vatrano against Carolina.
