Despite losing 13 consecutive games, André Tourigny still has a hold of the Coyotes' locker room and the team remains in good spirits.

It’s been no secret that the Arizona Coyotes are going through a rough patch.
The Coyotes have lost their last 13 games, basically ending any chance at the playoffs, something that seemed like a real possibility early on in the season.
Despite their most recent struggles, the Coyotes have remained united and the environment in the locker room has really not changed much.
“I think if we manage it good, it can be a really, really good lesson for all of us to just go through adversity together, and take the positive out of that, and just learn from that, and get closer together, and make sure that we're gonna get out of this and hopefully it's not going to happen again,” J.J. Moser said.
From the start of the season, the Coyotes have been a tight knit group and that camaraderie and brotherhood isn’t just going to change based on their performance.
“They are unbelievable, they are unbelievable,” André Tourigny said. “They don’t quit, they stand up for each other, they have the back of each other, they have spirit, They have attitude. Give them a lot of credit as much as they are in a really tough spot. When the going gets tough, tough gets going. You see the real character of your players in those kinds of situations.”
Also anybody saying that Tourigny should be on the hot seat does not truly know what’s going on with the Coyotes.
First off general manager Bill Armstrong already dismissed any notion that Tourigny’s job could be in jeopardy, so there is that.
Being around the team, it’s clear that Tourigny has not lost the room and the players are still in good spirits even through this rough patch.
The Coyotes are not losing because of a lack of heart, it’s really far from that. They are a young team that is fragile and lacking confidence which unfortunately happens with a lot of young rebuilding teams.
Arizona is at the stage of their rebuild where they may not be quite ready to compete just yet.
It’s easy to point the finger at someone in these types of situations, but this is who the Coyotes are as a team right now.
