With a couple of rental forward trades already finalized, the Coyotes may have a better sense on what they can acquire in a potential Jason Zucker deal.

There have been a couple forward trades in the NHL over the past couple of days that could dictate what the Arizona Coyotes may receive in a potential Jason Zucker deal.
The Ottawa Senators traded Vladimir Tarasenko to the Florida Panthers in exchange for a conditional 4th-round pick in 2024 NHL Draft and a 3rd-round pick in 2025 NHL Draft.
The Washington Capitals traded Anthony Mantha to the Golden Knights for a 2nd-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft and a 4th-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft.
Tarasenko and Mantha could set the bar on what other forwards go for before Friday afternoon’s trade deadline.
While Zucker is a different kind of player compared to Tarasenko and Mantha and may not fetch the same return as these other two forwards, it’s safe to say the Coyotes will develop a similar trade package based on the current market price for a rental forward.
It was reported by Sportsnet’s Jeff Marek that the Boston Bruins, Vancouver Canucks, Nashville Predators, Carolina Hurricanes, New Jersey Devils and Vegas Golden Knights have all expressed interest in Zucker.
It shows that there is a pretty big market for Zucker’s services which could lead into a bidding war, raising the price of his value.
In 51 games this season, the 32-year-old has nine goals, 16 assists and 25 points while playing 14:02 minutes per game.
Zucker is a standout person to have in a locker room and his past playoff experience should help teams down the road come postseason time.
