This Bruins forward is heating up significantly as of late.
Boston Bruins forward Morgan Geekie had a tough start to the season. In his first 18 games, he had just four points. In addition, he was scratched multiple times due to his struggles.
However, while Geekie struggled to produce offense at the beginning of the season, he has been trending in the right direction as of late. While playing in the Bruins' top six, the 6-foot-3 forward has four goals and six points over his last six games.

However, what is more encouraging about Geekie's hot stretch of play is that he is not showing any signs of slowing down. In the Bruins' last contest against the Calgary Flames, he started the Original Six club's third-period comeback with a goal. This is after he had a goal and an assist in the Bruins' previous matchup against the Vancouver Canucks on Dec. 14.
Geekie showed last season that he has the potential to provide solid secondary scoring, posting career highs with 17 goals, 22 assists, and 39 points in 76 games. Now, he is starting to do that again for the Bruins, which is simply excellent. He now has six goals and 12 points in 28 games so far this campaign.
