This Bruins forward has gotten through his rough start to the season.
The start of the 2024-25 season was not kind to Boston Bruins forward Morgan Geekie. In his first 18 games, the 6-foot-3 forward had only one goal and four points. He was also scratched multiple times due to his struggles.
However, after a slow start to the season, Geekie is starting to heat up. Over his last five games, the 26-year-old forward has three goals and an assist. This includes an impressive two-goal performance against the Chicago Blackhawks on Dec. 4.

Geekie's goals against the Blackhawks were nice, too. With his first one, he crashed the net and fired home his own rebound.
Geekie's second goal was even better, though, as he beat Blackhawks goalie Petr Mrazek on the breakaway with a perfect snipe.
This is certainly a nice step in the right direction for Geekie. It will be interesting to see how he builds off it from here. There is still plenty of season left.
