Former Boston Bruins defenseman Jeremy Lauzon is heading to a new team.
The Nashville Predators have announced that they have traded Lauzon and Colton Sissons to the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for Nicolas Hague and a conditional 2027 third-round pick.
Lauzon appeared in 28 games last season for the Predators, where he recorded one assist, 127 hits, and a minus-4 rating. His season came to an end in December due to a lower body-injury.
During the 2023-24 season with the Predators, Lauzon memorably set a then-NHL record with 386 hits in 79 games. Lauzon's record was broken this campaign by Kiefer Sherwood in 2024-25, however, as the Vancouver Canucks forward ended the campaign with 462 hits in 78 contests.
Lauzon was selected by the Bruins with the 52nd overall pick of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. In three seasons with the Bruins, he posted three goals, 11 points, 71 penalty minutes, and 145 hits in 76 games. His time in Boston ended when he was claimed by the Seattle Kraken in the 2021 NHL expansion draft.
